 Colour and Texture in the Landscape 25th and 26th June 2015

This 2 day workshop is about a response to landscape through colour, marks and textures. For more details please contact me HERE

It focuses on building up the surface of the canvas to create a unique and exciting outcome,
 informing your practice with some fresh and exciting ideas.

You will be drawing directly from the landscape, exploring how to create a unique colour palette;  experimenting with mark making  using a range of different tools to create individual textures and  building up layers of colour, then applying the new skills you have learnt to develop your ideas on canvas, with one to one tuition available.
We can also provide accommodation in our ensuite ground floor studio apartment.

Summer Workshops

Life Drawing Thursday 28th May 10.00 –16.00 Join our untutored monthly life drawing sessions.  An opportunity for artists of all abilities to network and spend a day drawing together.  We begin with a series of movement drawings and gradually build up the length of poses from a few seconds to a final long pose.  Please bring your own materials and equipment. Cost £30.00 all day or £15 for 2 hours in the morning.

Maximum 10 places.

A 2 day workshop  responding to the coast through colour and texture.  One day ‘plein air’ on the East Devon coast and one day in the studio.  Price £80 for 2 days contact me for details and a booking form. Limited places. 

Colour and texture workshop for students 4th August 2015

A one day workshop for students interested in art or who are taking art for GCSE or A Level.  Experimenting and  creating an exciting range of colours, textures and marks. Price £35 contact me for details and a booking form.
