Colour and texture in the Landscape 2015

We had a great 2 days for the Landscape workshop with fantastic weather allowing students to spend the first morning drawing outside using a variety of media including compressed charcoal and mud found on site.

The group experimented with mark making using a variety of tools. Back in the studio the group edited and recomposed their drawings using elements from several drawings to create new  and exciting compositions.

On day 2 the students experimenting with colour mixing exercises and developed their own unique colour palette for their paintings.

By the end of day 2 they had each completed at least one painting using the new skills and techniques they had learnt.

There are still a couple of places left for Colour Coast and Texture 2 day workshop on16th and 17th July 2015 for more information contact me
